Back To | Business Cocktail Networking Evening Strengthens France–South Africa Business Engagement

The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI) hosted the Business Cocktail Networking Evening on Tuesday, 2 December, in Sandton.
The event brought together members of the French and South African business communities to connect, exchange information, and identify new opportunities for cooperation.
The cocktail took place in collaboration with Bpifrance International, Business France South Africa and Southern Africa, and the French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCE).
The gathering formed part of a wider programme linked to the Parcours Business International South Africa, a multisectoral immersion initiative operated by Bpifrance with support from Business France and FSACCI from 1 to 5 December in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
The visiting delegation of French entrepreneurs used the week to assess market prospects and engage with local stakeholders.
During the evening, Business France announced the official launch of the Guide des Affaires Afrique du Sud 2025.
This annual publication provides a clear and updated view of South Africa’s economic landscape, sector trends, regulatory environment, and operating conditions. It serves as a practical tool for companies planning to enter or expand in the market.

Mr Florent Houssais attended the event on behalf of the EFE International initiative, which continues to expand through the efforts of CCI France International, FSACCI, and the CCE networks.
The cocktail created a platform for direct engagement with the Bpifrance delegation, Business France teams, CCE members, French companies active in South Africa, entrepreneurs from the EFE network, and South African institutional representatives.
The Business Cocktail Networking Evening reinforced ongoing efforts to advance bilateral business activity and support new commercial links between France and South Africa as the 2025 programme progresses.
