The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted its New Year Networking Evening on Thursday, 22 January 2026, at the FSACCI offices in Sandton.
The event marked the first official gathering of the Chamber’s 2026 calendar and welcomed members back after the festive period.
Cynthia Kalenga-Tshimpumpu, Events and Experience Manager, opened the event with an overview of the Chamber’s events plan. She outlined upcoming networking sessions, business-focused initiatives, and opportunities for member participation throughout the year.
FSACCI Chairperson Dr Yves Guenon followed and shared key messages on the Chamber’s priorities for the year ahead. His address set the tone for continued engagement within the French South African business community.
The evening centred on the French tradition of La Galette des Rois, offering members an informal setting to reconnect and exchange insights. Attendees used the opportunity to renew professional ties and initiate new business conversations.
The event reinforced the Chamber’s role as a platform for dialogue, connection, and business exchange at the start of the year.
