On Thursday, 19 February 2026, the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted its Members Only Padel Tournament at Africa Padel Camps Bay in Cape Town.
The Americano-style tournament set a competitive tone from the first serve. Players rotated partners and opponents, earning points as individuals while building rapport across the FSACCI network. The format kept the pace high and the scoreboard tight, with every game carrying weight.
Set against the Camps Bay coastline, the courts became more than a sporting arena. Members used each match to strengthen business ties, test teamwork, and engage with peers outside the boardroom. The structure of the Americano format encouraged participants to interact with multiple players over two hours, ensuring broad engagement across the group.
FSACCI positioned the event as part of its 2026 calendar to expand member engagement in the Western Cape. By placing business networking within a competitive sports setting, the Chamber created a platform where connections developed through shared performance and strategy.
The Cape Town tournament formed part of a broader Padel Networking series planned for the year. With strong participation and clear energy on court, the event delivered both sporting contest and business exchange in equal measure.
FSACCI continues to diversify its member offerings through targeted, in-person events that combine professional networking with structured activity.
