Back To | Mock Interview Workshop Empowering Alexandra's Youth
On April 1, 2025, the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI), in partnership with Sizanani Mentorship Programme, hosted a Mock Interview Workshop at the FSACCI offices in Sandton. The event aimed to equip young graduates with practical interview experience and connect them with HR professionals.
Fourteen graduates participated in one-on-one mock interviews with thirteen HR professionals. Each interview lasted 20 minutes, followed by a 10-minute feedback session. The interviews were filmed and observed by coaches for further guidance.
After the interviews, participants joined a collective debriefing session to discuss key takeaways. This session provided an opportunity to reflect on their experiences and learn from others.
The event concluded with a networking breakfast, allowing graduates to engage with HR professionals and expand their professional connections.
Bombela Operating Company sponsored the event and also participated in the interviews. FSACCI members that took part included Danone, Veolia, Limagrain, Capao, AGL, Clarins, People Power Placements, and L’Oréal. Jaguar Land Rover also took part.
This initiative provided graduates with essential interview skills and industry insights, preparing them for real-world job opportunities. FSACCI and its partners remain committed to supporting youth employment and professional growth.
