Forvis Mazars Hosts Mining Leaders During African Mining Indaba

Platinum member Forvis Mazars hosted a cocktail evening on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, on the sidelines of the Investing in African Mining Indaba in Cape Town.

The 2026 Mining Indaba has concluded in Cape Town, placing Africa at the centre of a growing global contest for critical minerals. Industry leaders, investors and policymakers met to assess supply chains, regulation and investment flows across the continent.

Against this backdrop, Forvis Mazars welcomed guests to an exclusive cocktail event at Hotel Sky, located near the Cape Town International Convention Centre. The evening brought together executives and decision-makers shaping Africa’s mining sector.

The event started at 18:00 with a premium cocktail experience held in partnership with Women in Mining South Africa and Ramjack Technology Solutions. Guests engaged in discussions on innovation, operational performance and the role of technology in improving mining outcomes.

From 22:00, the programme shifted into a networking after-party. The informal setting allowed participants to continue conversations started during the Indaba and explore new business opportunities.

Forvis Mazars used the occasion to strengthen relationships with clients and partners active in the mining value chain. As a platinum member of the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FSACCI), the firm continues to support dialogue between French and South African businesses in key sectors such as mining.

The 2026 Indaba underscored Africa’s strategic position in the global minerals market. Events such as this cocktail gathering reinforced the importance of direct engagement between advisers, operators and investors operating across the continent.
